CYCLING //
Cycling through the Namib desert is a unique and breathtaking experience - literally. You will cycle the famous Desert Dash route along the beautiful scenery (about 40-130km per day). A supporting vehicle is always behind you, choose your pace - it's a vacation,
not a race! There is always an alternative programme for non-cyclists.
AUTHENTIC CULTURE //
In a country with 14 different regions and over 15 different spoken languages, diversity is something that we most definitely acknowledge, appreciate and intend on sharing with you - authentically and personally. You will learn to cook traditional food and even meet the Namibian Royals - one of the Owambo Kings.
WILDLIFE & STARGAZING //
Namibia offers the Big Five and spectacular Safari experiences. The tour shows the Marine wildlife, the famous Etosha National Park but will also look into human-wildlife conflicts and it's role within the Namibian tourism.
The tour will also visit the Africa Millimetre Telescope at Gamsberg, which is a 15-m single-dish radio telescope contributing to the research on black holes.
SPORT INITIATIVES //
The Sport on the Move Foundation believes that creating a supportive sports environment enables athletes with a handicap to compete at the highest level in the Paralympic sports, gives them perspective for a life after sport and makes them a role model to the community. The Namibian Paralympic champions Shikongo, Ishitile and Nambala challenge you to join us on this tour through adventurous Namibia.
